Hybrid Honda Accura mainstay in Luxury Segment

DETROIT, NAGA MOTOR - Success with Market Insight hybrid - Honda Motor Co. (HMC) continue to strengthen the image on the matter of environment-friendly technologies. Principals in Japan confirms Honda will add a new variant with a fairly popular model, the Honda Accura. This product will target the luxury segment (luxury).

The assurance was conveyed directly by Supreme Leader Honda Takanobu Ito in the event North American International Auto Show in Detroit, as quoted Leftlinenews.com (12/1/2010).

Detailed information, when production will begin and what technology will dipenatkan to Accura Hybrid, has not been leaked. But, predictably manufacturers will create a new hybrid system specifically aimed at the luxury variants. As does the Lexus hybrid system which uses a completely different new Prius.

Another speculation emerged that the Accura variants will be transformed into a conventional dual-powered cars and electric motors is a TSX, TL, and MDX. The fact that stuck out, years ago, Honda said plans to import supplies diesel engines to North America for his own hybrid vehicles. But it is not clear linkages between the plan and Accura hybrid imports.
